our story
our story
In 2021, Resonate Seattle was planted with the aim of reaching individuals living in the city and students at the University of Washington with the gospel of Jesus. Seattle is one of the most unchurched cities in America, with the majority of adults having never attended a religious service. Additionally, UW Seattle is a massive university with over 35,000 undergraduate students but it's estimated that as little as 1% of them are actively involved in a campus ministry. These facts make Seattle, and UW particularly, a strategic and urgent mission field for the gospel, where individuals can be built up and sent out for the sake of God’s Kingdom. We truly believe that God is at work, and we want to join Him in what He is already doing in our city and on campus!
