Bozeman site pastor

I was introduced to Jesus long before I decided to give my life to Him. My family attended church, my grandpa was a pastor, my parents had gone to Bible College, so my introduction to Jesus was inevitable. Throughout middle school, high school, and early college I mastered the art of presenting myself as a Christian (and even genuinely trying to be one at times) while truly living for myself. I masqueraded as a Christ follower, but really I worshipped at the altars of acceptance, security, and success. My sophomore year of college those altars proved themselves unworthy. As I searched for purpose and direction in the spring of my sophomore year, a ragtag team of recent college grads at WSU were praying for God to move mightily before them as they prepared to plant a church on my college campus. Just a few months later I met the team planting Resonate Ellensburg and God saved me. He rescued me from my false, wimpy gods, and offered me undeserved acceptance, a completely secure identity, and Christ’s success and victory over death itself.

I spent the rest of my years in college saying yes to Jesus. Sometimes this looked like small acts of obedience, and sometimes it looked like large, life altering decisions. Upon graduating I decided I wanted to spend my life reaching college students. I joined staff, trained to be a site pastor, married my beautiful wife Molly, and moved with a team to Bozeman, MT in 2019. We prayed like teams before us that God would move mightily in our midst, and we’ve gotten to see him do incredible things at Montana State University. In just two pandemic laden years, we’ve seen God transform lives and eternities before our eyes.

We’re eager to see God do more. It’s a joy to play a small role in God’s redemptive work on college campuses, and we are grateful for supporters like you who allow us to continue this work. We truly believe that one reason our ministry flourishes, is because we have partners all over the country praying for and giving to us. We’d ask you to prayerfully consider joining our team to participate in what God is doing here at MSU.
