Join the Resonate Family
We believe every Christian should belong to a local church and take ownership of that church. This includes serving, giving, and participating in biblical community.
Members have rights, Owners have responsibilities. Instead of simply attending Resonate, Owners are a part of the Resonate family. We offer Ownership classes each term where you'll learn about the vision and values of Resonate, as well as how you fit into the church based on your specific gifts.
Steps to become
an Owner
There are just a few things that we need to know about you and that you need to know about us. The following list may look a little daunting, but it’s really just a bit of paperwork. Much of it can be completed anytime you like. Once you’ve been able to attend Resonate 101, you can become an Owner as soon as everything else is completed.
Attend Resonate 101
We want to be sure you know who we are as a church and what you’re becoming a part of. Resonate 101 will teach you how Resonate began, how your unique giftings can be used to serve the church and others, what Resonate believes about community, the gospel, and how to live missionally. Reach out to your church leaders for information about the 101 meeting.
Baptism
Baptism is an important step in becoming a Resonate Owner. Jesus commands His followers to be baptized as a way to symbolize that your old self has been buried and that you have risen with Christ to walk in newness of life. Baptism is a proclamation of that truth. If you have already been baptized as a believer then you’re all set for this step. Ownership Agreement
You will find the Ownership Agreement at the end of the Owner Manual you will receive at 101. Read it over and sign with your Huddle or Village leader.
