Day 2
Mark 1:14-15, Hebrews 12:1-2
Yesterday was long. Now we do it again, but before we go out and meet another 30 students, we remember who did it first. We recognize that Jesus modeled this life for us and ran the race first. We remember the one who modeled the perfect life as a minister and missionary so that we can strive to imitate Christ.
Running is hard, WoW is hard, and early mornings, long days, and late nights are tiring, but we run the race to remember those who have gone before us. Remember that we aren’t running just any race, but a race that requires the urgent proclamation that the Kingdom is here and now! Run with joy, run with unashamed gladness, run with purpose - Jesus was sent for salvation, and it is our turn to share that message with all thousands of first-year students coming to our campus this semester. Now, let’s go.
When you first started learning about Jesus, who was helping you? Reflect on your testimony and who God incorporated into your story along the way.
