Day 11
Acts 16
We don’t know who God will bring to our church this year. This chapter shows the power of God crossing all social barriers, and we should pray that our church is like the Philippian church, as in they started with a merchant, a slave girl, and a Roman soldier.
What would it look like to cast aside our social preferences and be open-handed with anyone ready to say yes to Jesus? God, who do you have for us today?
Spend this morning dreaming and praying. Remember the story of Philip and the readiness the Spirit equipped him with. God, we long and ache to witness Your glory in death-to-life stories. We long to see You heal the athletes, Greeks, freshmen, sophomores, and more. We long to see your glory permeate every person, social circle, and club. Help us to be like Philip & Paul, ready to share the gospel with a eunuch, slave girl, merchant, and soldier.
Pray that God would open your eyes to people you wouldn’t usually see. Pray that God would help you start new hobbies or allow you to seek out new people. Pray God will show you who is pointing towards Jesus.
